❑ Male Styracos are highly territorial over their territory and females especially when young are present. They will not hesitate to charge at anything and anyone that gets to close to his females, before stopping and issuing a loud warning to leave. If the intruder does not heed his warning then the male will engage in defensive combat. Even the males within his own herd are kept a watch on at all times to ensure they do not try to sneakily breed with his females.

❑ Female of this species are defensive when young are present, broadcasting and stomping to announce their displeasure before forming into a defensive circle with young in the center.

❑ When alone or in small groves of 3 or less, this species is highly skittish, preferring to flee from threats rather than stand their ground and fight unless cornered and forced to do so.

❑ Activity Schedule: are active during the day time hours, with the grove master keeping watch along with 3 of his subordinate males.

❑ Biome: inhabit all regions of the land

More information will be added as we continue to study this species.
