​

          ❑ Stegos are highly territorial over their territory when young are present. Even without young present they are still territorial but have been observed tolerating non-threatening creatures such as Camptos and Struthis though won't hesitate to give them a good swat with their tail spikes if they get to close. This is especially true for rival Stego tribals.

​

          ❑ This species is highly defensive, forming protective defense circles to keep young in the center, with tails on the outside when threats appear. 

​

          ❑ Stegos are primarily Matriarchal lead, meaning they are lead by a single female, usually the oldest in the tribal or the most dominate.

​

          ❑ Activity Schedule: active both during the day and night hours.

​

          ❑ Biome: inhabit the Redwood area and open plains frequently, though they will migrate to other areas in order to court and breed before moving back to their main territory in order to make their nests and raise their young.
